2. Pigment properties

Shandong Caizhiyuan Pigment: The chrome yellow Y616 in the lightfast coating is a red light yellow pigment. The color is bright, pure, bright, high in color, and has excellent light fastness. Even if 5% of the titanium dioxide pigment is diluted, the light fastness can still reach 7-8 grades. And it has excellent dispersion and tinting strength in paints, inks and plastic products. At the same time, it does not bleed in paint coloring and is resistant to migration in plastic coloring.

We abandoned the traditional coating technology, and through continuous innovation, developed a new production process, through special organic chemical treatment (copolymerization with other metal oxides) on the surface of the pigment, so that it has excellent weather resistance, resistance Aging, temperature resistance, acid resistance, etc. Therefore, Y616 medium chrome yellow has excellent cost performance compared with the same type of coated medium yellow pigment, and is also commonly used in outdoor coatings such as construction machinery, construction machinery and agricultural machinery.

Heat resistance of chrome yellow Y616 in lightfast coating (260℃/5min in PVC, 240℃/15min in powder coating, 230℃/15min in iron printing ink).

We experimentally show that:

A. Heat resistance test

1. In the powder coating, in the oven at 220°C/15min, 230°C/15min, 240°C/15min, there is no discoloration, the color of the sample is clear, and there is no turbidity.

2. In the PVC plastic power pipe, 200℃/15min, 220℃/15min, 230℃/15min, no discoloration, clear color, no turbidity.

3. In iron printing ink, 210℃/5min, 220℃/5min, 230℃/5min, no discoloration, clear color and no turbidity.

B. Weather resistance test

1. Take the two-component acrylic paint for outdoor building mixers as an example. Taking the climate of Yantai, Shandong and Lanzhou, Gansu as the standard, the paint sample has been exposed to the outside for 18 months, and there is no obvious fading or discoloration.

2. Taking the PVC plastic power pipe as an example, taking the coastal climate of Yantai in Shandong and the climate of Lanzhou in Gansu as the standard, the plastic pipe model has been exposed to the outside for 18 months, and no obvious fading or discoloration has been seen.

Notice: The above experiments have certain limitations, and can only be applied after customers conduct testing experiments according to their actual conditions.

3. Application areas

The chrome yellow in the coating is mainly used for the coloring of paints, water-based paints, inks, powder coatings, rubber, plastics and other products.
