Product Description

Brass check valve is a valve commonly used in water systems, its main role is to prevent media backflow, protect pumps and other equipment from damage caused by counterflow. Brass check valves are generally suitable for cleaning media and are not suitable for media containing solid particles or large viscosity. Brass check valves can be divided into many types according to their construction, including lift, swing, butterfly, pipe, slow closed and diaphragm check valves. The brass material provides good corrosion resistance and strength, allowing the check valve to operate steadily over a wide temperature range (-20 to 110 ° C) and withstand nominal pressures of up to 16Bar.

The working principle of the brass check valve is to automatically open or close the valve by relying on the flow force of the medium itself. When the medium is flowing forward, the valve is opened to allow the flow; When the medium flows in reverse, the valve is closed to prevent backflow. Brass check valves need to pay attention to the flow of fluid during installation to ensure that the valve can automatically close when the fluid flows in reverse.

Brass check valve models include H44W-16T with nominal pressure of 1.6MPa and operating temperature range from -20 ° C to 150 ° C. When selecting the brass check valve, it should be comprehensively considered according to the specific application scenario, medium characteristics, temperature and pressure requirements and other factors. For example, for high and high pressure check valves below DN50, vertical lift check valves and straight-through lift check valves should be selected; For low-pressure check valves from DN50 to 2000, butterfly check valves and diaphragm check valves should be selected.

Common failures of brass check valves include disc breakage and media backflow. The reason for the backflow of the medium may be the damage of the sealing surface or the inclusion of impurities, and the repair of the sealing surface and cleaning of impurities can prevent backflow.
