Power station gate valve, also known as power station gate valve, is a valve specially used in power systems, especially thermal power plants, for cutting off or connecting pipeline media. They are usually designed to withstand high temperature and high pressure conditions and have a unique self-sealing design, that is, the higher the pressure, the more reliable the sealing performance. Power station gate valves are usually suitable for non-corrosive media such as water and steam, and have the following characteristics:

The design and manufacture of power station gate valves follow certain national standards and industry standards, such as GB/T12234, ASMEB16.34, etc., and there are corresponding standards for structural length, interface connection size, inspection and testing, such as JB/T3595, MSS SP61, etc.
The nominal pressure of the power station gate valve can reach 200, 250, 320 and other levels, and the working pressure levels include P 55 100V, P 55 140V, P 55 170V and so on. The two ends of the valve body branch pipe are usually welded, and the valve seat and the sealing surface of the valve disc are made of cobalt-based cemented carbide plasma spray welding, which has wear resistance and abrasion resistance.
The opening and closing process of power station gate valve involves the mechanical movement of the valve stem and the rotation of the ball. When opened, the stem moves in reverse to release the ball from the seat and continue to lift and rotate to the fully open position. When closed, the stem drops and the ball begins to rotate and eventually presses tightly against the seat, achieving a complete seal.
In addition, the high temperature and high pressure pound products of the power station gate valve adopt advanced flow channel and other direct through structure, greatly reducing the flow resistance coefficient and energy loss, and significantly improving the service life and performance of the valve. Valve cavity adopts pressure self-tightening sealing structure, sealing performance is good, both ends of the branch pipe welded structure. The sealing surface of the gate plate and the seat is made of cobalt-based hard surfacing, which has the properties of wear-resisting, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance.
There are also corresponding standards and guidelines for the type establishment, electric actuator and piping of power station gate valves, such as JB/T 4018, DLT 641-2005, DLT 850-2004, etc. These valves are designed and manufactured with high temperature and high pressure operating environments in mind, ensuring their reliability and safety in the power system.
