Product Description

A welded check valve is a valve used to prevent the backflow of media, which is installed in the piping system by welding. The opening and closing parts of this valve will open or close themselves according to the force of the medium flow, ensuring that the medium can only flow one-way, thereby preventing accidents. Welded check valves are suitable for a variety of industrial fields, including oil and gas, chemical, food production, building HVAC systems and urban water supply and drainage systems.

Welded check valves may be of lift, swing or butterfly construction, and they may be threaded, flanged or welded in connection form. During installation, it is necessary to pay attention to the direction of the medium flow should be consistent with the direction of the arrow marked on the valve body to ensure the correct operation of the valve. In addition, large check valves should be independently supported to avoid the impact of pressure generated by the piping system.

The working principle of the welded check valve is to realize automatic opening and closing by relying on the weight of the valve disc and the pressure difference generated when the medium is backflowing. When the medium is flowing forward, the valve disc is pushed open and the medium can pass freely. When the medium flows in reverse, the valve disc automatically closes under the action of pressure difference and self-weight to prevent the medium from flowing back.

When selecting the welding check valve, the appropriate model and specification should be determined according to the nature of the medium, temperature, pressure and the size of the pipeline. For example, for high and high pressure check valves below DN50mm, vertical lift check valves and straight-through lift check valves should be selected; For high and middle pressure check valves with DN greater than 50mm and less than 600mm, swing check valves should be selected.

In addition, the material of the welded check valve can be selected according to different working conditions, and the common materials are cast iron, brass, stainless steel and carbon steel. Each material has its specific applicable media and operating temperature range to meet the needs of different industrial applications.

In general, the welded check valve is an important industrial valve, which provides effective medium flow control for various pipeline systems through simple working principle and reliable performance, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the system.
