Butterfly buffer check valve is a special type of valve, the main role is to prevent the medium counterflow, while having a buffer function to reduce the phenomenon of water hammer, to protect the safe operation of pipes and pumps and other equipment. The disc of the valve is designed in a disc shape and can be rotated around the rotating shaft of the valve seat channel. Because its internal channel is designed to be streamlined, the flow resistance is relatively small, suitable for low flow rate and large diameter occasions, but not suitable for pulsating flow, and the sealing performance may not be as good as the lift check valve.
Butterfly type buffer check valve is composed of body, disc, buffer device and micro-control valve, etc. It has the characteristics of novel structure, small volume, small fluid resistance, stable operation, reliable sealing, wear resistance and good buffer performance. Its nominal pressure range from 1.0 to 2.5MPa, nominal diameter from 40 to 1400mm, suitable for water, oil, sea water and sewage media, applicable temperature from 0 to 80℃, flange standards for GB/T 17241.6 and GB/T9113, test standards for GB/T 13927 and AP1598.
In addition, the butterfly buffer check valve seat is tilted, and the butterfly plate is double eccentric design, which helps to cut off the media backflow at the pump outlet, eliminate destructive water hammer, and protect the safe operation of the pipeline and pump. The valve has small fluid resistance, stable opening and closing, no vibration and noise, and has obvious energy-saving effect.
The design of butterfly check valves allows them to be used in a wide range of industries, such as industrial water supply, sewage treatment, oil and gas industry, power industry, and HVAC systems. Its compact design, low pressure drop, fast response to countercurrent, versatility and durability make it the first choice in many applications. When selecting a butterfly check valve, factors such as fluid type, operating pressure and temperature range, installation space, flow characteristics, industry standards and regulations, maintenance and cost, and valve quality need to be considered.
