The Vertical Check Valve is an automatic valve whose main function is to prevent the backflow of the medium and ensure that the fluid can only flow in one direction. This valve is usually installed on a vertical pipe, and its working principle is to automatically open or close the valve disc by relying on the flow of the medium itself. When the fluid is flowing forward, the valve disc will be pushed open by the pressure of the fluid, allowing the fluid to pass through; When the fluid flows in the reverse direction, the valve disc will automatically close, preventing the flow back.

There are many types of vertical check valves, including lift, swing, butterfly, etc. Among them, the valve disc of the lift check valve slides along the vertical center line of the valve body, which is suitable for horizontal pipeline installation, while the direction of the medium inlet and outlet channel of the vertical lift check valve is the same as the direction of the seat channel, and the flow resistance is small. The disc of swing check valve is disk-shaped and rotates around the shaft of the valve seat channel. It is suitable for large diameter occasions with low flow rate and no constant change of flow. Butterfly check valve with its simple structure, small size, light weight and other characteristics, suitable for a variety of media and temperature range, but the sealing is relatively poor.
